Ricardo Queirós wins the Innovation Award in the e-learning field (PIPED ), awarded at the ceremony commemorating the 28th anniversary of the IPP, with the Ensemble project.
The award aims to honor within the IPP those who bet on innovative teaching strategies, using information technology and communication, with application in distance education.
The winning project called Ensemble and was developed by Ricardo Queiroz under his doctorate under the supervision of Professor José Paulo Leal (FCUP). Ensemble is a conceptual tool to organize networks of systems and e-learning services based on international standards of content and communication. Ensemble is focused exclusively on the teaching-learning process. In this context, the focus is on coordination of educational services that are typical in the daily lives of teachers and students in schools, such as the creation, resolution, delivery and evaluation of work.
